On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, tourist revenues in November 2010 recorded a slight increase.

Specifically, revenue from tourism reached €62,4 mn in November 2010 compared to €61,0 mn in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording an increase of 2,3%.

In October, revenues had increased by 12.3%.

This improvement is mostly attributable to the increase in tourist arrivals for the same month. On the other hand, the spending per capita fell 1% to €673.8 from €680.3 in November 2009.

The biggest spending per capita was observed to the Russians (€951.7) followed by the Swiss (€915.7) and the Americans (€887.6).

For the period January – November 2010 revenue from tourism is estimated to €1.508,9 mn compared to €1.450,6 mn in the corresponding period of 2009, recording an increase of 4,0%.
